A connection is only made when both people show interest. Until that happens, your full profile details stay private — nobody gets open access to your information just by browsing.

Enter your phone number and we will text you a one-time code. If your number is not reachable — you are abroad, for example — switch to email and the code goes to your inbox instead. There is no password to remember or lose.

Codes can take a minute on a busy network. Check the number you typed is the one on your account, and look in your spam folder if you used email. If it still has not come, try the other method — phone if you used email, email if you used phone — and call us if neither works.

That means the number has not been registered yet. Accounts are created in the MatchBD app — sign up there first, then you can sign in here with the same number.

Your phone number and email are managed from your profile in the MatchBD app. Once changed there, the new details appear here the next time you sign in.

Sessions expire after a period of inactivity, and signing in on a new device can end an older session. Just sign in again with a fresh code — nothing on your account is affected.

Open your account, go to the Delete Account tab and confirm by typing DELETE. Your account closes immediately: you are signed out, your profile stops being visible, and your phone number and email are released so they can be registered again.

Deletion is immediate for you and staged for your data: it is retained for a short period and then permanently destroyed. The exact date it is destroyed is shown to you the moment you confirm, so you always know when it is gone.

No. Closing an account cannot be undone, and your phone number and email are released for re-registration straight away. If you only want a break, log out instead — everything stays exactly as it is until you come back.

No. MatchBD is built to protect your privacy — full profile access is shared only after mutual interest and the steps that go with it. Browsing members do not get your details.

Photos are managed from your profile in the MatchBD app. The photo you mark as primary is the one used as your avatar everywhere else, including here on the website.

It is a rough guide to how complete your profile is, counting the main fields — gender, city, date of birth, height, education, occupation, marital status, bio, religion and interests. A fuller profile gives you better matches.

The blue shield means the phone number or email on that account has been confirmed with a code. It tells other members the contact details behind the profile are real.

Profile details — your bio, interests, family information and partner preferences — are edited in the MatchBD app. The account page here shows what is currently on file so you can check it at a glance.

Use Report on that person’s profile in the MatchBD app and choose the reason that fits. Reports go straight to our review team. For anything urgent or threatening, call us directly.

No. We never tell anyone who reported them, and reporting does not open a conversation between you. You can also block someone so they can no longer reach you at all.

That is a scam. Nobody from MatchBD will ever ask for your OTP, password or card number — not by phone, email, SMS or chat. Never share a code with anyone, and report the account if it happened on the platform.

Never send money to another member, however convincing the reason — emergencies, travel costs and family trouble are the usual stories. Report them and we will act on it.

MatchBD is for adults only. A woman must be at least 18 and a man at least 21 — the minimum legal ages of marriage in Bangladesh under the Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2017. Nobody under 18 may hold an account under any circumstances, including on a relative’s behalf.

Report it. You do not need proof and you do not need to be sure — tell us and we will check. Where a minor may be involved we suspend the account first and investigate afterwards. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, and we report it to the authorities.

Gift cards are delivered by email or SMS, with their unique code, as soon as the payment clears — there is nothing to ship. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then contact us with the order number.

A MatchBD Gift Card carries package benefits — Match Numbers, Profile Boosts and a Profile Badge, depending on which card was bought. It does not add a cash or BDT balance to the account. One Match Number is one normal match; two Match Numbers make one priority match.

Open the MatchBD app and enter the Gift Card Code that came with the card. The Match Numbers, Profile Boosts and badge are added to that account automatically — then you can start matching. Each code works only once.

Once your order ships, its tracking number and courier appear on that order in your order history. Follow the delivery with that number on the courier’s own site.

Pending means we are waiting for the payment to settle. Paid means it has gone through and the order is being prepared. Cancelled means it was not completed, and Refunded means the money has been sent back to you.

Yes. Gift cards go straight to the recipient by email or SMS, and physical gifts are delivered to the shipping address you enter at checkout.

Payments are handled by SSLCommerz, so you can pay by card — Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, UnionPay — or with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, internet banking and other local wallets.

A payment can take a few minutes to settle with the gateway, and the order updates itself once it does. If it is still pending after that, call or email us with the order number and we will trace it against the gateway record.

Gateways often hold an amount before releasing it, and a failed payment is usually returned automatically within a few working days. If it has not come back, send us the order number and the transaction reference from your bank or wallet and we will chase it.
